To support the release of the new Sony Ericsson Xperia™ play, the world's first Playstation™-certified phone, we implemented an engaging facebook application that asked users, Sony Ericsson fans and particularly gaming enthusiasts, to identify different video games using a screenshot from the game. Users were encouraged to play more than once and every time they scored perfectly, they were entered into a draw to win an Xperia™ play from Sony Ericsson.
At the end of the campaign, we had 10 winners from across the Middle East including KSA, UAE, Lebanon and Kuwait.
Overall the game was played more than 47,000 times and the Sony Ericsson Middle East facebook fan page received an increase of over 2,700 fans during the eight weeks that the campaign was live.
