15th June 2004, Dubai (UAE): Flip Media has been contracted by Dubai based real estate developer EMAAR Properties PJSC, to develop an online website for its most ambitious development project The Dubai Mall - a world-beating, nine million square foot shopping colossus. The website was launched today together with the announcement by Emaar Properties that the official lease of retail space has started. Web users can explore the site on the internet address TheDubaiMall.com and online requests are also captured by the site.
The Dubai Mall will be the largest mall on the planet, as extraordinary in scale as it is in design and boasts an impressive array of leisure pursuits, including a world-class aquarium, fashion show arena, gold souk and an ice rink The Dubai Mall will revolutionize the modern shopping experience.
Flip Media has developed the website concept, design and programmed in co-operation with Landor Associates, one of the worlds's leading strategic brand consulting groups. The navigational concept focuses on the 16 experiences that The Dubai Mall will offer to its future customers: From the 'World Of Wonders' with a fancy water world experience, featuring one of the World's largest Aquariums to 'The World On Your Plate' representing fine dining restaurants and world class food courts. Web users can easily navigate through lifestyle driven experiences of glamour, class and culture.
