3rd March2004, Dubai (UAE): Recognizing the importance and size of the Middle East market, DTI has made a firm commitment to serving the region by opening a branch office in Dubai to oversee the production and administration of the newspaper in the near future.
Mainly targeted at dentists, dental technicians, universities and private dental practices, Dental Tribune Middle East Edition is printed in Arabic and English on a quarterly basis. 'Like all country editions, our Middle East publication will have internationally recognized news and information, with a special focus on regional issues," said Publisher Torsten Oemus.
Unlike many other international dental publishers, DTI tackles the language barrier head-on by producing country editions printed in the dominant language of the respective country or region. 'We have realised for quite some time that dental professionals in other countries lack not only access to suitable scientific and business information that is relevant and up to international standards. They also need to be able to read it in their own language." explained Oemus.
Dinesh Lalvani, Managing Director of Flip Media explains: "As part of our media offering we support DTI with the expansion into the Middle East to become a truly global dental newspaper. Arabization and local execution has been tasked to us by our partner as well as being the media representative office for this region."
With 17 country-specific editions in over 16 languages, DTI sends 250,000 copies of all publications world-wide on a monthly basis, making it arguably the largest and most influential publisher in the international dental market. DTI is published in China, the Middle East, Korea, Asia Pacific, Poland, Russia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria and many other countries.
'We have established Regional Editorial Boards, and an International Advisory Board, both of which are composed of academic experts, dental practitioners, and international correspondents," said Oemus. "Along with our content network, these boards will ensure that the newspaper features internationally recognized news and information."
The entire range of publications from Dental Tribune International, as well as individual magazines are available at www.dti-publishing.com.
