Toyota FJ Cruiser
The vehicle was being introduced in the Middle-east and the region being a primary market for 4X4 vehicles, it was a crucial event for Toyota.
The Challege
Allow for viewers to be able to “experience” the vehicle without actually having to physically test drive it.
The Solution
A microsite was built to give viewers the desired experience. This site invites viewers in in a very in-your-face-manner: There is techno music that immediately comes on followed by loads of graphics that guides your eyes visually across all aspects of the site. The main focus is the product itself which dominates the site.
Bright changing colors and a continuously moving background keeps the viewer occupied as they explore the site. A viewer is able to see the features of the FJ Cruiser- from inside out, as well as watch the ad and even download the “theme song” to the site onto their mobile. Another interesting feature is this site allows for a community. You can “join the FJ club” which enables you to access customer stories, videos, and download ads,ringtones, and wallpaper.
