Background

With all the buzz generated JustKidding's exclusive merchandise and innovative retail philosophies, the next logical step was to take the buzz online.

Founded by a group of four Dubai-based Dutch expats, JustKidding is a one-stop-shop for the modern parent. Their Dubai store is the preferred destination for finding top-quality baby products by numerous world-class brands from across the globe selling everything from strollers to super-safe car seats, furniture, interior design accessories and clothing labels for babies, young children and mothers-to-be.

Parent company DutchKid engaged Flip Media for a website that would be easy to use, convince online consumers about the reliability of the JustKidding brand, and create brand awareness. The online business model sought to supplement the only store in Dubai.

JustKidding wanted to bring to their website all of the innovation and commitment that consumers associated with their Dubai store. Flip's proprietary Content Management System, Navisite, was customized with the addition of several easy-to-use features that gave users the ability to manage complex tasks and meet the special requirements of JustKidding. For example, users can easily create complex product combinations with different bases, fabric colors, and numerous other product attributes.

For consumers, the website search helps locate products with a wide range of search criteria – by product category, brand, stage (newborn, junior, mum and dad, etc.) and even by special criteria like exclusive, must have, organic, portable and so on.

Considering that the JustKidding online sore stocks numerous products in more than 55 brands, sheer endless choice, and some products so exclusive that shoppers are unlikely to find them anywhere else, the search has proved to be a very useful tool for consumers.

The website has other unique features, like the Baby Shower Registry where registered users can create a guest-list for their Baby Shower and welcome invitees to purchase products selected by them on the JustKidding website.The website also provides for granular shipping zones with auto-calculated shipping costs but allows JustKidding to provide free shipping to select regions like free shipping zones and other parameters. Flip’s CMS has also provided JustKidding with a custom reporting system that is tailored to the existing logistics processes of the JustKidding warehousing system.
 
The highly customized product management, which is a highlight of the CMS, allows JustKidding to offer discounts, assign products on sale, and tag gift codes to specific products or to entire product categories taking out most of the hassles of product management.
