Flippers Break Fast Together 

Many of us non-Muslim Flippers accepted Yousef’s challenge to have the full Ramadan experience  by attempting to fast for the first time.   We discovered it's even harder than it seems!(I must admit, I didn't last until Iftar). 


 
The exercise did remind us all of how fortunate we are to have all our basic needs met. It was very eye opening and fulfilling to experience first hand the discipline, humility and spirt of giving during Ramadan.

Come sundown, we sat together and enjoyed a wonderful meal and shishas at Reem Al Bawadi, a Dubai institution and favorite among Flippers. The food never tasted so good!
