Festive Season Wishes
Hello December, it is the Festive season! People are buying trees and decorating them, companies are preparing contact lists and databases and designing E cards to be direct mass and mailed and emailed to their contacts and databases as a "social" responsibility. It is really the loveliest season of the year.
However, it is seldom you see individuals who think about the lonely and orphan, poor, sick or diseased children and adults.Thinking is first step, it might lead you to a sincere silent prayer, a true honest wish for their lives to get better, or at max, it might lead you to take action and do something about it. That sounds like a higher profile social responsibility now doesn’t it?
Given all the above, what are the chances of seeing a company, in a “greedy” labeled genre, taking some major and serious action about it?
Yes… very rare I believe!
So having one in UAE, in Dubai, is great! Nothing beats it than actually being a member of the family as well.
Flip has actually initiated an integrated charity raise funding campaign “Make a Wish” in the festive season, to gather money for the ill fated, choosing MSF (Medicine Sans Frontiers) as their body, given that MSF donates based on need, not based on race, religion, or ethnicity.
Flip also left it a bit open, leave a wish on Flip’s virtual online tree, and for every wish you leave, Flip will donate 1 AED to MSF, now that is a strong sign of generosity, isn’t it?
People first think, yeah lets all storm that tree with wishes and make FLIP donate as much as we can get them to, but hey, that is that point… so thank you, keep doing it 
Examining the tree, seeing wishes coming from all around the world, communicates a strong message; you can clearly see that the whole world shares the same wishes and hopes; everyone wants love, peace, and serenity.
