Extra Extra! Read all about it. Campaign ME shuts down.

Our much loved and hated weekly has shutdown. In a surprising move ITP decided to shutdown the weekly and also the upcoming awards ceremony. Feel sorry for all the people who took part in this years awards ceremony. Well apparently it has something to do with the revenue sharing deal between Haymarket, the UK based firm which holds the license for Campaign ME, and ITP. Is this an elaborate stunt to drum up some controversy prior to the awards or for real, only time will tell.

In the mean time we still have Communicate, which personally I feel is better anyways. I just hope they can take the initiative and become a weekly instead of a monthly format.

Just when we were having so much fun on the Campaign blog :-(

Saw it coming when the website disappeared and blogged about it too last week.

Campaign will be missed - I hope they make a comeback. The Spin at least (grin).

What bout all the money they charged, under the name of entry fees for campaign awards?
