Portfolio: Speed Shooters

 

To support the release of the lightning fast new HD phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ arc S, we produced an engaging Facebook game challenging users to play to win the new phone. In the game, the cursor was shaped like the Xperia arc S handset, simulating the look of users taking pictures with the phone. Users were required to click on or ‘take pictures’ of race cars branded with Sony Ericsson and Android logos. All the cars were moving at different speeds. Every time users successfully ‘took a picture’ of a racecar with the correct branding, they earned points, which accumulated over a period of 60 seconds. Users were encouraged to play more than once and the highest scorers were entered into a draw to win an Xperia™ arc S from Sony Ericsson.

The game was a huge success and was played over 2,000 times in the first two weeks helping the page reach more fans and increase engagement levels.
