Following the successful launch of the Dubai Calendar website in 2011, this mobile application brings Dubai Calendar to your iPhone, Android mobile and BlackBerry.
The objective of Dubai Calendar is to keep travellers, tourists and residents of Dubai up-to-date with information on all the events taking place in their favourite city. The application content is synchronized with and updated via the main website.
The new mobile version of Dubai Calendar has enhanced capabilities of showing nearby events using the users' current geo-location. The application also allows users to add events to their calendar and receive reminders, and encourages them to share the content with their friends through social media networks.
The application also allows event organisers in Dubai to contact DEPE and register their events directly from their mobile devices.
This is just the beginning and Flip will be developing the application further in the coming months to add extended functionality and services, so stay tuned!
