The Dubai World Championship is golf tournament that which will be held from 19-22 November 2009 at the Earth Course, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai.
It will be the only event of its kind. Only the top 60 qualifying players from the European Tour will be invited to attend this event which will result in an exclusive selection of golfers from all over the world.
The Dubai World Championship will hold a record prize fund of $10,000,000 with the winner earning $1,666,660. It will conclude with the new Order of Merit, which will be renamed the Race to Dubai.
