Flippers “dress differently” for a good cause
Today was a colorful day at the Flip office. To show our support for Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre, we participated in the Coins 4 Charity “Dress Differently For a Day” initiative.
We had the opportunity to express ourselves a little differently by wearing something unusual to the office – whether it was PJ’s, a costume, or native dress – anything went, as long as it was different! We’re generally a creative bunch, but this day really brought out everyone’s fun side.
Our always smiling and sweet receptionist Anabelle got the first prize in our best-dressed contest for truly doing something different---She came to the office in full combat gear, complete with bulletproof vest and air gun! Ambarish, our invaluable IT support, won the runners up prize for his hilarious inflatable sumo outfit! He had a hard time sitting down all day though (check out the photos).
All of our participants here at Flip donated 10 AED to the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre in Dubai, a non-profit school for special needs kids including cerebal palsy, autism, downs syndrome as well as other mental and physical handicaps.
It was great fun in the office and all for a worthy cause. We are already looking forward to next year.
