Job Description

An experienced designer with complete mastery of the principles, tools and technologies of graphic design for the web, you have experience managing projects independently while leading a team of graphic designers. You can also manage day-to-day output of individuals under your supervision, motivating and leading by example to constantly improve and challenge skills and quality of output.


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage projects from concept-through-completion
  • Analyze briefs, visualize and execute creative concepts individually or with a team; lead the design effort on concept/prototype and production tasks
  • Supervise teams, manage and mentor individuals
  • Consult with and report to Creative Director / Associate Creative Director
  • Work closely with Account Management, Client Servicing, Strategy, IA, Copy and Development teams to manage creative output and timeline expectations and goals 
  • Advance the skillset of self and team; stay updated with current trends, tools and technologies
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and team-building exercises; provide performance feedback through on-going evaluation of team members


Key Skills

  • Strong design skills with knowledge of layout, illustration, typography and other design fundamentals, ability to visualize and execute creative concepts
  • Must have designed for websites, mobile applications, social media apps and digital advertising
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and knowledge of other industry standard tools is desirable, sound knowledge of user interface design and working knowledge of HTML
  • Excellence in verbal and written English communication is a big plus


Qualifications & Experience 

  • Graduate / Undergraduate in Commercial Art
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a digital agency with at least 1-2 years' experience with project management
