Flip Media wins Silver & Bronze at the Intl Summit Awards

Silver goes to Emaar's Downtownliving.ae and Bronze to Mercedes-Benz' Online Motorshow site.

21st May 2006, Dubai (UAE): Flip Media, the region’s leading, interactive marketing agency, announced today that they have been awarded a Silver and Bronze trophy at the International Summit Awards in Portland, USA.

Flip won the Silver Award in the Consumer Service Website category for Emaar’s Downtown Living website, which captures the aspirational lifestyle of the Burj Dubai Downtown district, and a Bronze Award in the Consumer Product Website category for Mercedes-Benz’s Dubai Motorshow 2005 microsite,

These awards cap what has already been an impressive year for Flip Media, who won 18 of the 36 UAE Web Awards, the local chapter of the Pan Arab Web Awards, including 8 Gold and the prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for ‘Website of the Year’ for the Mercedes-Benz B Class website. They also won 14 awards, including 3 Gold, at the Pan Arab Web Awards in Amman earlier in May.

The Summit Creative Awards were founded in 1994, and recognize creative excellence for small & medium-sized creative agencies worldwide. Judges come from top creative agencies, some being Ogilvy, Tribal DDB, Promoseven Network, Wieden & Kennedy, Grey Advertising, TBWA, Young and Rubicam; DDM Interactive, Saatchi & Saatchi and others.
