Description In this role the attendee will work closely with staff in the Production Development and Project Management groups to test/use developed web applications prior to LIVE state and validate that page construction conforms to design specifications and other functionality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in testing the front-end / Back-end sides of the agency developed sites.
- Verify that web page implementations conform to approved design templates and wireframes.
- Validate the XHTML CSS Templates and test the flexibility of the produced Templates prior to integration.
- Perform cross-browser compatibility testing using different screen resolutions.
- Perform cross-platform compatibility.
- Test an entire website functionality/usability from the normal user point of view.
- Track broken links visual defect due to content implementation.
- Do form validation testing.
- Track and manage projects for testing and be a final eye.
- Write accurate & clear bug and defect reports in precise language suitable for production and development audiences.
Qualifications/Requirements:

- 1-4 years minimum of relevant technical experience and internet usage.
- Previously software tester is a (plus)
- Strong ability to study and identify visual inconsistencies between design specifications and final browser rendered HTML pages.
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to understand functional design specifications.
- Solid understanding of HTML XHTML CSS JS and data handling in the XML format.
- Experience with bug tracking and version control tools is a (plus).
- Ability to write accurate bug reports in precise clear language for both production implementation defects and functional bugs.
- Understanding of client side form validation.
- Prior experience executing cross-browser / cross-platform test cases.
- Understanding of n-tier web applications and CMS (Content Management System)
- A keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ecommerce experience is a (plus).
