| Description | The SEO Specialist has responsibilities supporting search campaigns and overall strategy through planning, executing, reporting, data and structure analysis. You will be part of all technical aspects of the SEO offering from pre-launch deliverable through performance reporting and continuous campaign management. This individual serves as one of the SEO experts in the SEO Team. The Specialist must stay current on SEO strategies through continuing education including seminars books periodical subscriptions etc… Specific Responsibilities: • Optimize successful SEO campaigns for major search engines • Create and execute client search strategies and plans • Keyword Research & Analysis • Code and structure analysis and proficiency with X/HTML, CSS and other relevant coding techniques • Develop Link Building and internal linking strategies • Provide and create detailed analysis documents to trend campaign performance • Provide ongoing support of all campaigns including reporting, analysis and optimization recommendations • Understand search engine marketing strategies, the search engine landscape, and the effectiveness of client campaigns • Develop documentation of processes and strategies • Proactively resolve client or internal questions or conflicts • Ongoing training of new or entry level employees. Assist with development of internal agency training content specific to SEO • Periodic submission of case studies, white papers, or blog articles to internal agency publication initiatives Experience and Education Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years industry experience • Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening, and team work skills • Accurate and current knowledge for an array of products and services • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to manage a heavy workload • Ability to take initiative and work independently • Proficient in MS Office specifically: Excel, PowerPoint, Word • SEO specific experience • Solid understanding of web analytics tools • Proficiency with X/HTML, CSS and relevant coding techniques • Must demonstrate knowledge of and strong interest/passion in SEO • Must be able to demonstrate previous ability to improve SEO program performance through ongoing optimization techniques • Must possess an ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access preferred • Web development experience is a plus • Quality control - charged to maintain consistent quality for all of the client deliverables |
